  • Registered in England and Wales, company number 10622637
  • Registered office: 21–23 Chilworth Street, London, England, W2 3HA

References to "we", "our" and "us" mean Kompsos Limited. References to "you" mean the person using this website or placing an order.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing this website you agree to these Terms of Service and to comply with all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page and apply to orders placed after that date. They do not apply retrospectively to orders already accepted.

These Terms were last updated on 23 July 2026.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, you may use the website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who will be responsible for the order.

4. How a Contract Is Formed

  1. Placing an order is an offer to buy. It does not create a contract.
  2. We will send an order acknowledgement by email confirming we have received your order. This is not acceptance.
  3. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. At that point we are obliged to supply the goods described in it.
  4. If we cannot accept your order — for example because an item is out of stock, we cannot verify payment, we suspect fraud, or the item was listed at an incorrect price — we will tell you and refund any payment taken in full.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order for any lawful reason.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect orders we have already accepted.

We accept payment through Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal and Apple Pay. Payment card details are transmitted securely to our payment providers and are never stored on our servers.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete purchase and account information. We may refuse or cancel an order where we suspect fraudulent activity, unauthorised use of a payment method, or a pricing error.

Where an order is shipped to a destination requiring additional recipient information, that information forms part of the order details you are required to provide. See our Shipping Policy.

6. Products

Our jewellery is produced in limited quantities and may be withdrawn at any time. We make every effort to display colours, materials and finishes accurately, but screen settings vary and slight differences are normal.

We guarantee the authenticity of the materials described in each product listing. Normal wear, tarnishing or discolouration arising from use, or from contact with water, cosmetics, perfume or chemicals, is not a manufacturing fault.

Hallmarking. All articles of precious metal exceeding the statutory exemption weights are hallmarked by the London Assay Office in accordance with the Hallmarking Act 1973.

7. Delivery

Delivery times, costs, destination-specific requirements and customs terms are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Goods become your responsibility when they come into your physical possession, or into the possession of someone you have identified to take delivery on your behalf. Until then, the risk of loss or damage in transit is ours.

8. Cancellation, Returns and Faulty Goods

Your rights to cancel, return and obtain a refund are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

In summary, if you are a consumer in the UK or EU:

  • You may cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving the goods, for any reason, and receive a refund. You do not need to have a fault or a reason.
  • Separately, if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 including a 30-day right to reject.

Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

9. Intellectual Property

The content of this website — including text, images, video, graphics, layout and software — is owned by or licensed to Kompsos Limited and protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may view the website and download or print one copy of any page for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • copy, modify, adapt, reverse engineer or create derivative works from any part of the website;
  • remove any copyright or proprietary notice;
  • reproduce, republish or mirror any part of the website on another server;
  • use our product images, video or logos in any commercial context without our prior written consent.

"Kompsós" and our associated logos are trade marks of Kompsos Limited. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

This is a licence, not a transfer of ownership. It ends automatically if you breach these Terms.

10. Acceptable Use

Your use of this website is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Content You Submit

You keep ownership of any content you submit to us — reviews, photographs, comments or social media posts tagging us.

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and display that content in connection with our business, in line with our Privacy Policy and your privacy settings on the platform where it was posted.

You can withdraw this licence by deleting the content or asking us to remove it. Withdrawal does not affect paid advertising or printed material already in circulation at that time, which we will not be able to recall.

You confirm that content you submit is your own, is truthful, and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

12. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party providers, which may process data about your use of our website:

13. Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • breach of your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Protection Act 1987;
  • anything else which cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that:

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for loss arising from your use of the goods for any commercial or business purpose.

If you are a business, we exclude all implied terms to the fullest extent permitted by law, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for that order.

The website is provided "as is". We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

14. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events outside our reasonable control, including postal or carrier disruption, customs action, strikes, extreme weather, natural disaster, epidemic, war, or governmental restriction.

If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take steps to minimise the delay. If the delay is substantial, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund for goods not yet delivered.

15. Privacy

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you are a United States resident, please also see our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

16. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at support@kompsos.co. We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days and resolve them within 14 days.

Alternative Dispute Resolution. We are not currently a member of an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme and are not required to use one. You remain free to approach an approved ADR provider if you wish, and we will consider any such approach in good faith. This does not affect your right to take legal action.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of that jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, the United States or elsewhere, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country or state in which you are habitually resident, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country or state.

If you are a business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

18. General

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.

No waiver. If we do not insist on you performing any obligation, or delay in enforcing our rights, that does not waive those rights.

Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will tell you in writing if this happens and it will not affect your rights.

Third parties. These Terms are between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce them.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, form the whole agreement between us.
